SSI wouldn’t be in existence if it weren’t for the vision and leadership of Leo Anhalt, an exemplary leader in our industry. Leo founded SSI in 1969 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. SSI provides design-build, pre- and post-construction, and construction management services for Arkansas and our surrounding states. Early on, the company spotted opportunities for growth in the northwest region of the state, so we expanded operations with an office in Springdale.
In 1984, the Springdale branch officially became a standalone entity to directly serve clients in the Northwest Arkansas region. In January of 2023, Trent Hanna, an experienced professional in the industry, stepped in as Managing Partner and Vice President of SSI Incorporated of Northwest Arkansas. In October of 2023, Trent took full ownership and began his time as President. He's on a mission to become one of the most trusted general contractors in the region, with a team of passionate and skilled professionals on his side.
Trent has been in the construction industry on a professional level for eight years and has loved every minute. He received his Bachelor of Science in architecture from the Fay Jones School of Architecture and has experience in a diversified range of project sizes. With a background in architecture, he offers a unique perception in managing job sites and pays extra attention to the smallest of details on a project. Trent also has experience with both construction labor and construction management, making him a tremendous asset to operating SSI and leading our team.
